SHOW LOW — One in six kids in the United States struggles with hunger, meaning that instead of worrying about being a kid, they are worried about their next meal.
The good news: This problem has a solution.
Pizza Factory has partnered with No Kid Hungry to fight child hunger “one pizza at a time.”
No Kid Hungry is an organization which “connects kids to effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals.” Private citizens, government officials, non profits and business leaders like Pizza Factory Show Low manager Darren Warrick are working to ensure that every child in the United States has access to healthy food.
One dollar of every extra-large Special pizza sold by Pizza Factory during the month of September will be donated to No Kid Hungry.
